Louisville, KY & Southern Indiana
Floors Built
ToughProfessional epoxy, polyaspartic, and flake floor coatings for your kitchen, garage, basement or business. Born and raised in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, we are proud to service the people that make Louisville great!
The Prep Is The Job Everything else follows
Louisville Coating Company installs professional floor coating systems across garages, basements, workshops, and commercial spaces throughout Louisville, Shepherdsville, and Southern Indiana.
Most coating failures come from skipped prep. Rushed grinding, ignored moisture, wrong product for the space. We do not do that. Diamond grinding on every job, crack repair before anything goes down, coating specced to how the space is actually used. John Booth built this company on 20 years in the flooring industry through Louisville's Best Choice Flooring. That background shapes every job we take on.

Common Questions
How long does installation take? +
Most residential floors are done in 1 to 2 days depending on the system and condition of the slab. Polyaspartic systems are often a single-day install. We confirm the timeline before anything is scheduled.
Will the coating peel or chip? +
Not when the floor is prepped correctly. Adhesion depends entirely on how well the concrete is ground, how cracks are repaired, and whether moisture is addressed. That is where most cheap installs fail, and where we put the work.
Epoxy vs polyaspartic, what is the difference? +
Epoxy is a proven, durable system best for spaces with minimal sunlight and no rush on cure time. Polyaspartic is UV-stable, cures faster, and handles temperature swings better. Many quality installs use both. After seeing your space, we tell you which fits without overselling you.
Is the floor slippery when wet? +
Anti-slip texture is added to most garage installs. Flake systems naturally improve grip compared to smooth bare concrete. If the space has specific traction requirements, we walk through the options.
Can you coat old or damaged concrete? +
Yes. We evaluate cracks, prior sealers, and moisture during the site visit and tell you what the slab can handle before quoting. Older concrete is workable in most cases once prepped correctly.
Is there a warranty? +
Yes. Residential coatings come with a multi-year warranty against peeling and delamination. We cover the full terms before you sign off. No surprises after the job is done.
How do I get an estimate? +
We do on-site estimates only. Every job is different so we do not quote over the phone. Contact us, we schedule a visit, look at the slab, and give you clear pricing based on what it actually needs.
Do you serve Southern Indiana? +
Yes. Clarksville, New Albany, Jeffersonville, Sellersburg, and surrounding areas are part of our regular service territory. We cross the river regularly and the prep standards and material specs are the same as every other job.

We come out, look at the slab, and tell you exactly what it needs. No cookie-cutter pricing. No phone estimates. Just an honest assessment and clear numbers.
